Last week we received information from Redmond that the company is making the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango update available to "nearly everyone in the current delivery pool". Great news today as we find out that all phones are currently flagged for the refresh.
On the Windows Phone Blog Eric Hautala says that Microsoft is "delivering Mango to 100 percent of eligible phones around the world, regardless of carrier". To be more specific, the update is headed out "to everything that’s not listed as “scheduling” or “testing” on Where’s My Phone Update?" including LG Optimus 7 phones on Telefonica in Spain.
Additionally, some models may see firmware updates that are specific to the phone itself. These refreshes improve the phone's performance, fix bugs, or even activate new features (as we've seen the "tethering update" go out to European LG Optimus 7 devices).
